the olympics opening ceremony threesome

Image of Jules and Jim (Jules et Jim) referenced in the threesome menage a trois scene in the Olympics Opening Ceremony Paris 2024

Oh la la! Did anyone just see the THREESOME Scene in the Olympics Opening Ceremony!?!?!
Pretty sure the internet is just about to BLOW UP with talk of that steamy segment. Allow us to recap.

The scene starts in the library where three fine young Frenchies are flirting while reading some sexy novels.

The run through the streets of Paris and up the stairs, making out (s’embrasser) and closing the door on the camera to what is sure to be a WILD night in.

It is a very bold (ose) reference to the film Jules and Jim by François Truffaut

This wasn’t the only subversive reference so far, with Lady Gaga offering a very a sexy caberet dance and icons of the Feminist and Abortion Rights movements rising from the Seine River to the tune of the French National Anthem.

The French phrase “ménage a trois” is often used in to refer to a sexual encounter between three people (although it is more correctly translated to mean a collective living arrangement between three lovers, rather than just sex).

Either way, it seems that Liberte and Sexual Liberation is at the heart of the celebration of these Olympic Games.

Six one liners

Six pick up lines

Let’s get down to the fun business of picking up.

Pick up lines can be corny or lovely depending on how they are done.

Here are six quick ones that can take you from day to night and from the bar to home…

"Est-ce que tu crois au coup de foudre ?" (Do you believe in love at first sight?)

This cute one literally means do you beleive in lightning bolts? ⚡️

"Ton sourire illumine ma journée." (Your smile brightens my day.)

Complimenting someones smile (sourire) is a great way to brighten most peoples day!

"Tu as des plans ce soir ?" (Do you have plans for tonight?)

This one is easy peasy as the word for plan in English and French is the same.

"Est-ce que je peux t'offrir un verre ?" (Can I buy you a drink?)

The verb “offrir” (like offer) means to gift. You can also buy someone a drink and then say “je t’invite” (when you invite someone it means you pay for them).

"Je peux te raccompagner chez toi ?" (Can I walk you home?)

Much classier and more correct than voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir”!

"Excuse-moi, est-ce que je peux t'embrasser ?" (Excuse me, can I kiss you?)

A simple, lovely, way to ask for consent!

So there we go from day to night a journey to bring lovers closer.

Do try these at home, or on the streets of Paris.

It would be our pleasure, to be your guide.

A true lady

The true story of the Tour Eiffel

Picture this: in the heart of Paris, a city alive with romance, stands the magnificent Eiffel Tower.

A magnificent monument, but one that has too often been mistaken for a symbol of masculine power as opposed to a paragon of feminine allure.

Now, nip across to Pigalle and you can find thousands of silicone versions of this towering beauty as rendered as dildos (godes) and vibrators (vibromasseurs). You can be excused for assuming that this Iron goddess is a sort of phallic symbol.

However, in French, that’s simply not possible.

Objects have genders and Towers are feminine. So the Tower Eiffel is very much a woman.

And what a woman! It's like she was made for love!

I mean, just look at her - she's drop-dead gorgeous, standing tall at 300 metres, weighing 10 tons, and put together with a lattice of 18,000 pieces.

In fact, the legs of the tower are supposed to represent the spread legs of a woman and the lattice work, her skirt. So when you stand under this grande beauty you are looking right up, not at a shaft, but at a tunnel.

Now, this babe's got a couple of saucy nicknames that you may not know.

Madame de Fer, or the (original) Iron Lady, is one.

The other is La femme rouge, or The Red Woman.

Why? Because this lady's got some serious curves, and when she rusts, she turns red-hot! Back in the day, before they painted her a boring old "Eiffel Tower Brown", the anti-corrosion paint used to keep her looking fine was red. And boy, did it suit her passionate personality.

Mademoiselle Eiffel was supposed to come down at age 20 and then later in 1944, Hitler ordered Dietrich van Choltitz, the military governor of the city, to demolish the Eiffel Tower, thankfully van Choltitz refused.

At 137 years old this Parisian Madame is still very much alive and very much in her prime.

She is also married actually, to an American woman named Erika… but that is a long story for another time.
